Half the inquiries we get are from contractors with sites in Manhattan or the Bronx. Yes, we deliver. The model's different from our standard zone, and it has to be.
Standard zone (Staten Island, Brooklyn, Bayonne, Jersey City). Order by 4 PM, delivery by 7 AM next morning. One overnight cycle, fixed route, predictable.
Manhattan and Bronx. Order by 4 PM, delivery the morning of the day AFTER next. So Monday 4 PM order, Wednesday morning delivery. Two overnight cycles.
Why the extra day. Manhattan parking and traffic. We can't reliably hit a 7 AM Manhattan window from Staten Island on the same loop that hits Brooklyn. So we stage Manhattan/Bronx orders separately — they ride a dedicated truck on a different schedule.
What this means in practice. If your crew is on a Manhattan site and a guy needs boots tomorrow, the answer is the same-day pickup model — someone comes to 519 Port Richmond Ave and picks up in person, or we can ship via courier (extra fee, but possible for urgent items).
What it costs. Same delivery fee as standard zones — flat $25 below the $200 order threshold, no fee above. We don't charge extra for the longer route.
When this matters. Plan ahead by one extra day. If you know Wednesday's the day a guy on the crew needs the new vest, place the order Monday by 4 PM, not Tuesday at 5. See jobsite delivery for the full breakdown by zone.
