Visiting

  • Where are you?

    519 Port Richmond Avenue in Staten Island, NY 10302. The yellow road-sign logo is hard to miss.

  • What are your hours?

    Eleven to eight, seven days a week. We don't close for lunch and we don't close early on a slow day.

  • Is there parking?

    Yes. Street parking on Port Richmond Ave is the easiest. There's also a small lot behind the building if you can't find a spot out front.

  • Do you take credit cards?

    Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. No personal checks.

What we stock

  • Do you have my size?

    Probably. Boots run from size 7 to 15 in most lines, including wide widths. Workwear runs 28 to 46 in waists and S to 3XL in tops. If we don't have your size on the shelf, we can usually order it in two to three days.

  • What brands do you carry?

    Carhartt, Timberland Pro, Red Wing, Thorogood, Dickies, Wolverine, CAT, Rockrooster, DeWalt, Rothco, plus eight more. Full list on the Brands page.

  • Can I try the boots on?

    Yes. We have a Brannock device on the floor. If you've never had your foot properly measured, come in. It'll change which boot you buy.

  • Do you carry FR-rated workwear?

    Yes. We stock FR shirts, pants, and outerwear from Carhartt FR, Norti, and a couple of other lines. Bring your spec sheet if your job site has specific NFPA or ASTM requirements.

Custom printing

  • How long does a custom-print job take?

    Most orders are ready in three to seven business days. The press is in the back of the shop, so we don't have to ship anything out and wait for it to come back.

  • Is there a minimum order for custom printing?

    No. We'll print a single shirt for you. We'll also print four hundred for a fundraiser. Pricing scales — bigger runs are cheaper per piece.

  • What file formats do you need for the artwork?

    Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) work best, especially for line art and logos. High-resolution PNG or JPG (300 DPI minimum) works for photo-style artwork. If you only have a napkin sketch, bring it in and we'll work with you.

  • Can I bring my own garments to print on?

    In most cases, yes. We do recommend buying the garments through us when possible because it gives us control over the print result. If you bring your own, we can't guarantee the print holds the same way.

Fleet & crews

  • How do I open a fleet account?

    Walk in or call 917-397-8381 and ask for Kwasi. We open accounts on a handshake and a W-9. Net-30 billing, volume pricing on orders of 5+ of any item, and a standing list of gear we always keep on the shelf for your crew.

  • Do you deliver to job sites?

    Yes. Place the order by 4 PM, we deliver to the trailer or shop by 7 AM the next morning. Standard zone covers Staten Island, Brooklyn, and the Bayonne / Jersey City corridor. Manhattan and the Bronx are reachable on a next-day stage.

  • What's the minimum for fleet pricing?

    Five of any single item. Volume pricing kicks in at five and ramps up at ten and twenty-five.

Returns & fit

  • What's your return policy?

    Unworn, untagged items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. Worn boots can come back if there's a real defect — bring them in and we'll talk. We're not a chain store; we'd rather make it right than win the receipt.

  • Do you do boot fitting?

    Yes. Brannock measurement, gait check, and we'll talk through the trade-offs of safety toe vs. soft toe, leather vs. composite, and what your day actually looks like. No charge for the fitting, no pressure to buy.

  • What if a boot doesn't last?

    Bring it in. If it's a manufacturing defect, we work with the brand to get you a replacement. Red Wing and Thorogood will also resole boots — that's a separate service we can route for you.
