Targee Street is one of the most heavily traveled roads on Staten Island. It runs through Concord as one of the historic commercial spines, alongside Victory Boulevard at the northern edge. The neighborhood's housing stock is varied — vinyl-over-redbrick split-level bungalows on narrow lots, brick rowhouses, modest 1950s and 60s apartment buildings, commercial strips of one- and two-story storefronts.

What that means for trades: a four-way mix. Single-family remodel work on the bungalows. Multifamily and apartment-building maintenance on the postwar brick walk-ups. Masonry and brick-rowhouse repair where the pointing and the lintels need work. Small commercial buildouts along Targee and Victory.

We're 15 to 20 minutes east via Forest Avenue → Targee, or via the SI Expressway. Standard delivery zone — order by 4 PM, drop by 7 AM.

Brick rowhouse repair is the trade that defines this neighborhood. Masonry pointing, brick veneer rebuild, lintel replacement, parapet work, chimney repair. We stock Cougar Paws for the parapet and chimney work, the Thorogood American-made roofer for the flatter work, and the Carhartt double-front canvas pants for the masons. Hi-vis class 2 minimum on any sidewalk-shed work because Targee's traffic is constant.

Apartment-building maintenance trades — the supers and the contracted repair crews — want the daily kit on tap. Carhartt rugged flex dungarees, Wolverine Floorhand boots, Klein and Knipex hand tools, cut gloves and nitrile by the case. The Bosch oscillating tools that handle most of the demo. We keep this stuff in volume because the apartment-maintenance rotation is constant.

Small commercial along Targee and Victory pulls the finish trades. Thorogood softer-toes for the carpentry, Labo slip-resistants for the food-service installs, the Carhartt FR henleys for the electrical service upgrades on the older buildings.

Concord crews tend to run mid-sized — five to twelve guys — across multiple buildings on a maintenance contract. Fleet accounts are a clean fit. Net-30 terms, volume pricing on five-plus of any item, weekly delivery to the property manager's office or the maintenance shop.

Custom screen-print and embroidery in-house, no minimums. Apartment-maintenance crews want the building name on the polo. We do it in three days.
